I have a 97 Savage. I go a month or more in between rides, cause of work etc etc etc. When I get my bike out, after sitting up I crank it up and it runs fine on idle. I take it on the road and when i give it gas it hesitates. spits and sputters and runs terribly. Should I do something to the gas b4 putting it up for a month or so? How can I fix the problem when it runs bad? Usually I ride it real hard to blow it out...it works somewhat but not like id like it. Once, I had to ride with the choke wide open for a long time b4 i could turn it off...it just wouldnt stay running without it.
Any suggestions would be great!
